From our observation, this principle concerns pretty much every business that is engaged in the industry. Thus, a SaaS company that provides a brand licensing solution to its players shouldn’t be treated any differently. With this in mind, we’re shining a light on the story of Flowhaven by sharing thoughts of our CEO, Kalle Törmä, on the company and its foundation, the reality it lives today, and the plans that it has for the future.
Long before Flowhaven launched operations and engaged its early adopters, the company had embraced a solid vision. That vision encompassed a solution for the industry – one that would be technically strong to support the growth and scalability of licensing programs, yet flexible enough to meet specific, and sometimes narrow, needs of individual licensing businesses.
This, essentially, is how the concept of Flowhaven was born. Afterwards, there came a need to assemble a strong team with shared values and passion for innovation and licensing industry. Our founding team consists of people with experience in licensing operations, business, sales, and technology. Shortly after validating the market needs, the team has grown into its current size. At that point, Flowhaven welcomed competent techies as well as sales and marketing enthusiasts, ready to roll up their sleeves to build an intuitive and user-friendly brand licensing solution.
From the very early days of Flowhaven, it was clear that the team would need to cooperate closely and the work environment had to be inspirational. Today, we have achieved many milestones we’re so proud of, including becoming an official partner of Salesforce and releasing the first commercial version of our solution via AppExchange.
From day one, we have embraced the best practices of both a startup and a growth-oriented business, positioning ourselves as a young but established company. While we sustain the learning curve of a startup, we understand that a company needs to exploit the key business practices to develop sustainably. By remaining proactive on both fronts, we have grown faster than we ever thought possible.
When it comes to the work we do, we like to keep our minds open and our operating methods flexible. Ever since the company’s establishment, our team’s learning curve has been steep and adventurous. However, all those efforts have always been essential for reaching the new heights.
